Rockefeller College
PASA is hosting a HAPPY HOUR TONIGHT, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4 at 9PM—meet us at LEGENDS SPORTS LOUNGE at 286 Lark Street. As we mentioned before, there are an ample number of flat screen TVs including on the walls of the all-important restrooms. They have cheap drinks & serve tasty pub food until 11pm. Experience Albany’s popular Lark Street neighborhood at one of the street’s newest establishments. See you there, Rockefeller. Reminder: Parking is limited and so is the earth’s capacity to withstand all of our CO2 emissions, so CARPOOL!
SAVE THE DATE: On SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13 PASA is going to THATCHER PARK and you are all cordially invited. Thatcher Park is a state park with volleyball courts, ball fields, ample room for picnicking and Frisbee, beautiful views of the Hudson and Mohawk Valleys, the Adirondacks and the Green Mountains and gentle hiking and mountain biking trails. October 13 also happens to be the park’s Fall Festival with all sorts of classic Autumn foods, crafts and whathaveyou. And if that isn’t enough, it is also the site of one of the richest fossil-bearing formations in the world. So given that piece of information, we’ll plan on seeing everyone one of you next Saturday. Friends, family & significant others are also invited, as always. We’ll carpool and leave from Rockefeller College around 12 noon. More details to follow in our next newsletter. PLEASE EMAIL pasa@albany.edu BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED (and whether you need a ride).
Check out other goings-on at our College, our University and in our City.
And be sure to visit our City Guide at www.pasarockefeller.wordpress.com

MEET US ON FACEBOOK
With all of the emphasis that Rockefeller puts on networking, PASA has a
great way for you to build your own network without reinventing the wheel.
Are you on Facebook? Join the PASA Facebook group to find and stay
connected to your classmates, learn about PASA events and post your ideas.
For those of you who don’t have cars, the discussion board is also a
great way to connect with those who do. The PASAbilities (ha, get it?)
are limitless and only a few mouse clicks away.
RACQUETBALL ANYONE?
Is there anyone out there interested in a Rockefeller racquetball club?
The word on the street is that the University intramural club is… too
intense. Please respond by email you are interested. If there are enough
eager racquetballers, we can begin the process of setting up an informal
club, team, etc.
