This SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13 PASA is going to THATCHER PARK! Come alone or with friends or family. Go for a gentle hike, play frisbee or relax with a book. Enjoy the Park’s Fall Festival with pumpkins, crafts and fall comfort food. There’s something for everyone, so by our logic that means everyone should come!  We will carpool/caravan from Rockefeller College around 12 noon.  We’ll each bring some snacks, but please plan on bringing anything you would like to munch on or some cash for the Fall Festival. PLEASE EMAIL pasa@albany.edu BY THIS FRIDAY by 12 NOON IF YOU ARE INTERESTED (and whether you need a ride).

In case of rain or other undesirable weather, we will cancel the event by Saturday at 10am on our website. Please check this before coming.

PASA is now a Registered Graduate Student Organization (RGSO)

Although PASA has been around for years, we are now officially recognized by the University’s Graduate Student Organization! Basically this means that we have better access to University funding, have more street cred and are completely awesome. We will send PASA delegates to regular RSGO meetings on the uptown campus so that we can keep you all informed on graduate student benefits, events and plans. PASA will continue to bring you events and information as we have done for years.

PASA is hosting a HAPPY HOUR TONIGHT, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4 at 9PM—meet us at LEGENDS SPORTS LOUNGE at 286 Lark Street.  As we mentioned before, there are an ample number of flat screen TVs including on the walls of the all-important restrooms.   They have cheap drinks & serve tasty pub food until 11pm.  Experience Albany’s popular Lark Street neighborhood at one of the street’s newest establishments.  See you there, Rockefeller. Reminder:  Parking is limited and so is the earth’s capacity to withstand all of our CO2 emissions, so CARPOOL!
